Magpie Custom: Mutable Instruments - Frames Panel
In keeping with the concept of keyframing on which Frames is based I started thinking in terms of binary frames and started looking up images of optical encoders. These work by allowing a sensor to detect the difference between light and dark. The inner tracks with less blocks on them are for when the encoder spins faster / lower resolution whereas the outer are for when the disk is going slower or you need a higher resolution.
Available in one style: Mirror Polished Black powdercoat which has been sandblasted matte with two part epoxy 'High Intensity White' screenprint. Please note that all these extremely finicky processes are done by hand, in-house and at each stage small variations will present themselves making each of these panels unique. We do our best to make these perfect but please understand that we are not robots.
